Hey, I'm Luis, a score composer passionate about films and soundtracks.

Since I was a kid I dreamt of working on films, Now, I spend my time building my home studio and practicing new music ideas and editing techniques with the goal of finding new ways of expressing human emotion.

 

I grew up surrounded by musical instruments through my classical upbringing in the local marching band and the town’s choirs.

I started my music studies as a trumpet student at my hometown conservatory and I would soon realize that my passion resided in the composition of music.
In 2013 I moved to Lisbon to study under composers such as Daniel Schvetz, Eli Camargo and Eurico Carrapatoso at the National Conservatory of Lisbon where I was thought the basics of Adobe Premier Pro.

I later studied music production at Restart where I learned technics for modern music production and recording.

In April of 2021 I released my own short film called 21 and, later in the summer of 2021, I was featured as a composer in the short film “O funeral” directed by my friend Catarina Almeida. More recently, in February of 2022, the youtube channel WW Studios published "Duel of the Dunces" to which I contributed as a score composer and sound editor.
